## Billing math (worked examples)

- **Storage**: a 1 GB source file costs less than €0.06/month — €0.03 for the original (optional to keep) plus ~€0.03 for the transcoded renditions.
- **Traffic**: 1,000 minutes of playback per month costs less than €0.20. Bitrate adapts to each viewer's connection, so you pay for delivered gigabytes, not minutes.
- **Processing**: a 10-minute video costs ~€0.10 to process, charged once at upload. Every video is transcoded into a ladder of renditions (1080p, 720p, 480p, …). Migration from another platform is processed free.

Why per-GB and not per-minute: a 10-minute 4K video and a 10-minute 720p video cost very different amounts to deliver. Per-GB matches the actual cost driver; using smaller formats lowers your bill directly.

- First month's invoice arrives at the start of the following month.
- Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel any time from the billing page — no calls, no retention scripts, no upfront commitment.
- Exceeding the Free plan quota does not take videos offline; you get a reminder to upgrade instead.
- No mid-term price hikes; pricing changes are announced well in advance.
- Payment: card or wire transfer.
